On the Eleventh Job of Christmas...
"Victorian Fair, Victoria Park, Barry".
Despite the fact this was a 6pm start, the band pulled at all the stops to get from home, work and school on time. It would be no exaggeration to say it was arctic in the Bandstand - the views are so great as there is nothing between you and the sea. Even in the summer it is freezing! Despite this, the band played all the big hits for the brave attendees of the fair. There was some incredible food stalls (a hot dog in a pizza being one of the more exotic offerings), as well as other things to buy and games to play. We met a smashing young man and his mum who requested some very traditional carols and played the sleigh bells with great style.
