Thank you everyone for a great event last night, I think it was pretty obvious that they all enjoyed the performance and the programme.

A massive thanks to Alice and Zoe for stepping up and doing a great job, and of course to you all for the time put in in preparing for the first 'sit down' of the year.  Only a couple of weeks to the next one.

There is no band on Good Friday 14/4/17 so may I wish you all a good long weekend and we'll see you next week 21/4, more new music has arrived!!

Good Morning one and all, the job scheduled for Thompson Park, Cardiff this weekend has been cancelled.

This is good news for one of our players as this means she has longer to get over her special birthday celebrations.

Thank you everyone for yesterday's job, what a treat to be able to play in such a magnificent church. Thank you to Sarah Duncan-Jones for arranging it and looking after us so nicely.

Sorry for the lateness of this blog, I have been trying to get this awful app to work for the best part of an hour. If you're ever looking to create a webpage don't try Weebly, it's truly a headache.

Anyway, we have been trying to contact our customer for the day to find out if their is somewhere suitable for us to play in this terrible wind, unfortunately they haven't come back to us so we have decided to withdraw from the job. We have to weigh up the potential costs to the band in ruined music and obviously the safety of us all both at the job and travelling to and from. I hope you'll all understand that we will always err on the side of caution, we love you all and want you to enjoy and be safe whilst performing with us.

Evening All

Two new jobs since the last update. We are playing at a fundraiser for SHUA (Secure Home for Unwanted Animals) in Sully on Sunday, and a job at Tesco Culverhouse Cross on 19th December to help in their charity fundraising, the Tesco Barry job has moved to the Sunday.  Its rare we book two jobs on the same weekend but I hope you'll all do your best to be there, at least they're indoors and it gives us an opportunity to do anything but the red carol books!!

Due to logistical problems which we just haven't been able to overcome, we have had to withdraw from the concert in aid of St.John''s Ambulance which will be taking place in All Saints Church, Barry 6th December.  The concert is going ahead with organ accompanying the carols.

Croesty School concert which was scheduled for the 15th December has  been put on the back burner for now, we are hoping to get down there this year but we're have troubling getting a suitable date that doesn't clash with the schools other concerts set for this time of year.

As always we are hoping to be out and about doing some 'busking' in the weeks leading to the big day, watch this space for details.

Hello All

There will be a band rehearsal on Friday night so we can do a polish up on the program for our lovely American guests on Tuesday.

You will see that the pinic in the park concert on the 17th May has been cancelled, unfortunately our host has double booked herself so, although we could go anyway, there will be no toilet facilities.  We are still hopeful of getting around that small detail but for now it is a cancelled booking.

It was lovely to have our Clive back last week, well on his way to recovery from his fight with a van, he'll be using both hands to play any time now!

Good Morning All

As the title would suggest, we think we may have enough on for the summer, the yuletide season is pretty much full too.  Don't be shy though, if you have an event that you really think we could help with then just ask, we will always try to accomodate.

News from the bandroom sees us hoping our big Clive is recovering from a nasty incident with a van whilst out on his bike, see you soon hopefully Clive.
